    Working Behaviour

Lots of things have happened around me these past weeks.

Much as I find it boring to have the routine of working, gaming and sleeping...my time seems to be so packed lately tat I wished to have my routine back :P

Work seems to be picking up since I came back from my Vietnam trip... probably coincidental but my OT days are back again. Plus there are some changes at my workplace recently with colleagues leaving and new colleagues joining. So, lots of unrest and uneasy atmosphere at work.

Its also rather tiring to see the disharmony in the working system and how it is obviously affecting efficiency. No one takes the initiative to do anything and everyone seems to like playing the "tai-chi" game. Its funny how this type of people exist in every workplace I have been to, so it came as no surprise that it can also be found in my current workplace.

I remember a concept I have learnt in the past when I was working part-time in Pizza Hut where we were taught the "Clean as u go" practice. As the name implies, u clean up any mess that u see as fast as possible, no matter the cause. By doing so, we are able to create a pleasant dining experience for all customers. We dun go ard pointing fingers at our colleagues or trying to find out who created the mess but just go straight into rectifying the situation. Efficient right?

Then Sharon, my ex-superior and my favourite boss by far, taught me that we should always try to help colleagues when the solution is within our means. Sure, the matter might not be in our job scope or within our job duties, but if helping the person out would mean helping the person churn out or complete his/her task faster, isnt it a good thing? I am not saying that we should go ALL out to help others and in return neglect ur own tasks but just a lil help might mean so much to others.

But those are just views of mine and I guess we cant change the world nor everyone's mindset to make this world a better place. So, lets just hope for the best.

Besides work, I have been busy catching up with my frens. Meeting for dinners, drinks and chit chats have probably caused me a couple more kgs.....T_T......as if I am not fat enuff.....

It is also during these times when I hear abt others' problems tat I begin to reflect on my life again. Wat I want in future, blah blah and blah...the same outcome, I have no conclusion or answer.

Approaching the age of 30 next year, the usual questions tat pple will ask of a 30 year old woman are:
    1) Do you have a boyfriend?
    2) When are u getting married?
    3) When are u having children?

Its like the stereotype fate of ALL WOMEN: Women must get married, have children and have family to be complete. And all women who doesnt do all tat will be left on the shelf and become spinsters. -_-

Gosh, when will this horrible stereotyping be eradicted? It doesnt mean tat marriage is a guarantee of future happiness, it only means two persons coming to live together and build a family together. Call me pessimistic or skeptical abt relationship, but seeing so many examples of failed relationships and marriages, its hard not to be so.

What everyone should remember when in a relationship is to love urself too. We normally get so caught up with loving our partners, children and family tat we somehow forgotten abt ourselves. We then revolve our whole life around them tat if and when they leave us (due to watever reasons), our whole world seems to fall apart.

From another angle, ask urself this:
Who is the person u spend the most time of ur life with???

    Answer: URSELF!!!

So, if u dun care abt urself or take care of urself, who will?

NO, I am not asking everyone to be selfish bastards or bitches...but do love urself more.
