Just came upon this funny clip on an interview with 183 Club on the kissing scenes between Ming Dao and Qiao En in Wang Zhi Bian Qing Wa (WZBQW). A real protrayal of guys...keke...

Proper Address
No, the address I am talking abt is NOT the mailing address...its how we address pple: eg. "Mr Who&Who", "Ms Whatsoever", the informal "Alan", "Jane" or the rude "A!"
Was thinking of this topic in the morning and remembered an incident in my childhood when I was scolded by a teacher for being rude. I was in primary 2 or 3 then and u know how kids are like - we like to give teachers pet names...erm, some nice some nasty names :P Well, there was this teacher then, I remember her name is "Low Mei Ling"...as she was a bit fierce, we like to imitate her and call her full name instead of addressing her as the proper "Ms Low"...but of coz tat was among ourselves lah. One fine day, she came in for our class and while we were greeting her, I made a blunder and blurted out "Good morning Ms Low Mei Ling!" Wah, the instant the name came out in full, I knew I was in deep shit! (Ok, for a primary 2 or 3 student to know she is in deep shit must be something deemed really serious then). Ms Low indeed gave me a scolding and said that it is rude to call someone's name in full and I was punished to stand up the whole of tat lesson. Haha...imagine wat impact tat incident had on me for me to remember all the details :P
Now think...issit really rude to call someone's name in full, eg. "Mr Tan Ah Kow"? Then why is it that we call all the actors/actresses, singers, idols, and even public/political figures by their full names? For eg, is calling "Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong" rude? If it is, the media will be condemned for their rudeness towards our public figures.
Just recalled this other instant when my good friend, Jenny, told me how she disliked one of her ex-colleague for addressing her full name whenever talking to her or abt her. Jenny felt tat it was really rude of tat ex-colleague to do tat.
So, the question is "IS IT REALLY RUDE TO ADDRESS OTHERS BY THEIR FULL NAMES?"

Killer Taxi Fare T_T
I took the cab 2 days ago when I was rushing to work in the morning (due to my alarm clock and my having to wash my newly highlighted hair, which I kept washing red dyes off).
Oh yah, side-track a bit...FYI, I just did my hair last Sunday. 2 shades of mahogany and red, they call it highlight and lowlight...cost me a bomb but well tats the thing with being a girl...we like dolling up ourselves...keke!
Anyway, back to the cab issue. As most know, the taxi fares in Singapore have risen yet AGAIN. A half hour journey from Hougang to Tg Pagar area cost me $21.20!!!!! $*@^T$*@%!$^* tat costs like 4 meals to me T_T
Why is it so d@mn expensive? Yah, I know there is peak hour charge, CBD charge, ERP...but what other charges are there? Why does it hv to burn such a big hole in commuters' pockets???
With the EVER increasing transport expenses in Singapore, does it mean that we have to revert to our ancestors' way of transport - by "11"? "11" meaning using ur legs lah, resort to walking everywhere. So instead of waking up at 7am to get to work by 8.30am...in future, one has to wake up at 4am to get ready for the long walk to work. -_|||
You must think I am crazy for the above comment...yah maybe I am :P but still doesnt change the FACT that taxi fares are really high these days. Only consolation to me is that, the cab fare in Perth cost even higher than Singapore (at the moment)...

Funny Clip on Ming Dao ^^

The Magicians of Love
As most of u know from my previous posts, I am really into Korean dramas. But wat u probably din know is tat I am into Taiwan dramas too. Not the draggy soapy type of olden Taiwan dramas, but the modern idol type of Taiwan dramas. I know I am not those young teenage girls who get obsessed over their suave handsome idols, but then I cant help but get attracted by the fairy tale storyline of such dramas. From Meteor Garden to The Prince Turns Into Frog, lately I discovered a new favourite: The Magicians of Love. The cast in this show is almost the same as The Prince Turns Into Frog...basically starring 183 Club. I am positively smitten by Ming Dao's charms...really cute and warm smile he has. Its surprising how I used to think he looks pretty ugly when I first watched The Prince Turns Into Frog...but then I guess his charms won me over. Well, do check out this drama...highly recommended by me!
