My PSP!

I bought my very own PSP last Sat! This term might be alien to some pple but it is a familar term for all gamers.


PSP = Playstation Portable!


Its amazing how technology evolve...last time pple play games like 5-stones, zero-point...then pple went on to board games like Monopoly, snake & ladders, chess...after tat computer games took over. With the computer age came the introduction of Nintendo, Gameboy, Playstation...amazing! Then just as how PCs improve from Pentium I to II to III and onwards, Playstation 2 came out, then X-BOX came in to have a bite in the games market.

Now, there is sooo many options for gamers that we are really spoilt for choice. Playstation 3, X-BOX 360, Wiis...and handheld games like PSP and DS-Lite.

INFORMATION OVERLOAD!!!

Keke....anyway I am extremely happy with my PSP....travelling to/from work is no longer boring...hehe!!!

Ex-colleague's Wedding

Went to an ex-colleague's (one of the LA who left our firm recently) wedding last Sat, 6 Oct 2007.

It was a grand affair which was held at Swissotel the Stamford and they actually have about 80 tables in the ballroom! Sigh....rich pple is like that one.....think they want "face", so have to hold a really GRAND event to announce the wedding. But I think the plan backfired on them. Coz sadly, the tables were barely filled up with quite a number of them with only 4 to 6 attendees.

Gosh, the wastage of food at those tables is really heart-wrenching when u think about pple who are starving.

Anyway, my colleagues were snapping photos like crazy...and so I uploaded some of them below. Decided not to name my colleagues just in case they dun care to have their photos on my blog...hahaha....can u spot me in 2 of the pics?

Snow Queen

After completing Why Why Love, I din go back to watching Loveholic or Great Expectation. Instead I got Snow Queen from Su and it turns out to be a great show, though a sad one.



I am a bit lazy to write synopsis on the drama...but I found this great website giving very good writeups on dramas...both korean and taiwan dramas....in fact the writer/blogger has more on his/her list than me...go visit ba...I will tag this link as a shortcut on my blog too.

Bored to Tears T_T

Wonder why am I blogging now? Coz there are some updates for MapleStory and I am now downloading the patch...estimated nearly 2 HOURS to complete!!! I already spent 74% of the time surfing blogs and watching TV...so...why not just blog something...

Soooooooo bored......bored to tears.....

Its amazing that while I have such busy schedule...I still have time now to feel bored...*scratches head*

Haha....guess we cant be busy ALL THE TIME....keke...

Anyway, I changed the song for my blog le...its Rainie Yang's Que Yang from the Taiwan Drama "Huan Huan Ai". Decided to take down the song for 200 pounds beauty just in case u all get sick of the song :P

Emergency Phone Number

Do u know wat is an Emergency Phone Number?

It is the phone number of someone close to u that others can contact in times of emergency. For eg, if u are walking on a street and suddenly faint...passersby can send u to the hospital but they will not be able to contact ur family unless u have an Emergency Phone Number on u tat they can easily find.

Some who have medical history/conditions might be familiar with such incidents and do carry their very own medical cards about.

Why am I talking abt this topic out of the blue?

Well, I had the worst case of chest pain/heartburn...or watever u call it.....this afternoon at work. It is basically a sharp pain at ur chest and it comes and go in periods (the pain tend to make me become the "Hunchback of Notre Dame" as I will hunch myself to contain the pain in my chest). Then, u will feel that there is air in ur chest and will try to burp it out.

Anyway, my chest pain lasted a full hour and thereafter the pain became lighter but still existent. So, I cancelled my yoga lesson (T_T.....sorry Yogi....I did wana attend ur class...) and headed home. On my way to the MRT station, I felt the pain again and it left me tired and breathless. At this point, a thought fleeted thru my head - "Wat if I suddenly faint or fall unconscious due to the pain?"....sure I have my ID and handphone with me but with so many phone numbers inside...how would anyone know who to contact in case of emergency? Although I have my HOME number inside, wat if there is no one at home when something happens?

Weird that I have such thoughts...but then it alerted me that I should store a few emergency phone numbers in my handphone that appear as the 1st few numbers in the handphone phonelist! At least then pple can scroll down ur phonelist and find the Emergency Phone Numbers immediately.

So, how abt storing an Emergency Phone Number in ur handphone as well?
