    Slipping Into Momentum

Its been nearly 3 months into my job...I am finally slipping into the momentum. The starting 2 months had been difficult adjustment period due to the change of working environment and the demanding nature of this job....but I am glad to say...I am getting used to it.

I have this simple theory abt work-life harmony...its like the game "The Sims"!

Ever heard abt this game? It is like a mock real life game where u can create a person/persons/family/a whole neighbourhood (we shall collectively call them "Char"). This Char will start off in a simple house where u will decide wat basic necessities Char will have inside the house with a small sum of $. Char will have to eat, sleep, urine, shit and bathe just like ordinary pple. But in order to do all that, u need to buy food, bed, toilet bowl system, shower/bath tub for Char. It all boils down to "$"...just like in real life.

So the first point we learn from The Sims is tat - we need to earn $$$$$

Then once u have found a job for Char and taken care of the $ factor, u have to make sure Char has entertainment and communication with others. Char have to make friends with neighbours and watch tv/play games/read books/go out in order to feel happy and content. If the happiness level drops below the requirement, Char may refuse to go wake up and be late for work or even refuse to go to work at all....which means no $!!!

Same applies in real life....we have to find ways to make ourselves feel happy. That is wat I concluded after 2 months of working in the job...I have to schedule sufficient time in a day to have my daily dosage of happiness, ie. mapling, watching tv, watching dvd/vcd, or going out with friends.

Another thing worth mentioning abt The Sims is the ability for Char to learn things/skills...from reading books, playing logic games, painting, etc...self improvement is important too.

With various factors satisfied, Char may have a shot at getting promoted in the job and earn even more $.

There are many others stuff in The Sims tat mirrored wat we encounter in real life...too many to mention all of them here....maybe u should try the game when u are free...but I think Gamers will find it a boring game.

This is a weird entry huh? Well, I just find the likeness of The Sims to real life strangely similar...worth mentioning.
