    How R Song Titles Translated???

Recently I have been organizing some Chinese music files in my computer to delete the duplicate files and re-categorizing the remaining.

As my computer is unable to read Chinese Characters, the real challenge comes when I need to rename some of the files. Hanyu Pinyin seems to work out pretty well and we are able to recognize the songs from there. But when the songs are named in English!?? Ever wondered how some song titles are translated from Chinese into English and become....barely recognisable?? These are some examples (taken from Ping Guan's album):-

1)Teng Ni De Ze Ren -> Uxorious Responsibility
2)Zui Xiang Nian De Ji Jie -> The Missing Season
3)Ming Ming Heng Ai Ni -> Really Love You
4)Zui Jing Bi Jiao Fan -> Feel Boring Recently
5)Ai Qing Bu Neng Zuo Bi Jiao -> Incomparable Love
6)Wo Zhao Ni Zhao Le Hao Jiu -> Looking For You For Long Time
7)Ai Qing Zhuan Wan De Di Fang -> The Place Love Turn Around
8)Qing Ni Xiang Xin Wo -> Trust Me Please
9)Pei Ni Yi Qi Lao -> Be With You Forever
10)Fen Bu Kai De Liang Ge Ren -> The Couple That Cannot Be Separated

No.10 song title is a bit long so when it appear on screen it shows "The Couple That Cannot Be Se..." and I tot the last word is "Seen"...hahaha....imagine what the Chinese words would be then??? "Kan Bu Jian De Liang Ge Ren" OR "Jian Bu De Ren De Liang Ge Ren"....wahahaha....

This sets me to thinking abt how Korean actors/actresses had their names translated into Chinese names (maybe even unknown to them sometimes). Cant quote any examples at the moment but I do remember there was some confusion in the past on some names.

Well, sure hope that in future, translators would try to do a better job to translate between languages in order to find the closest meaning and not just plainly translate word for word.
