The show started with the Female Lead (FL) being a poor illegitimate girl who was staying with her aunt coz her mum was in coma. The Male Lead (ML), who was a hooligan, met the FL when he was trying to collect a debt from FL's cousin.
Touched by FL's courage and determination to repay the debt owed by her cousin by means of playing golf, ML protected her from his boss. And he slowly developed good feelings for FL.
One day, FL suddenly disappeared and ML went in search of her, thinking that she was running away from debt. Only to discover that FL had found her birth dad and was staying with her dad, step mum and step sis. Her step sis was jealous of her appearance in their lives and tried ways to get rid of her. But to her annoyance, her childhood love met FL and took a liking to FL, thus making her even more angry. Falling into her step sis' ploy, FL was mistaken not to be her dad's real daughter and was forced to leave the family...only to meet them again 4 years later...
